This project creates a series of events designed to strengthen the bond between mothers and sons in Dorchester through shared experiences. Programming includes career development components to help young men get on a path to a successful career, along with field trips across Boston for mothers and sons to explore together.

In a world where technology has replaced people-to-people contact and social media makes miscommunication easy, these events prioritize in-person connection where things can be talked through face to face. Better Opportunities, Inc. would take the lead in planning and delivering the events. The goal is to get families out together, building relationships while opening doors to new opportunities.
