Charter buses, fishing equipment, and instructors to create outdoor fishing experiences for Dorchester residents, building community through outdoor recreation.
This project brings the sport of fishing to Dorchester residents who may never have had the chance to try it. Funds would cover charter buses, fishing equipment, and professional instructors to lead group fishing trips. Outdoor sports are fun and healthy, but people who live in cities often don't have exposure or access to them.
In a world where both children and adults could benefit from more time outside, this project creates that opportunity. It's also a social sport that builds community and gives people with outdoor interests a chance to connect and meet others. The program would run multiple trips over the summer to serve as many residents as possible.
