Community Interpreter Leadership Training Programs

Avatar: Billy Billy

This idea is to propose the creation of a neighborhood community interpretation program for the most spoken languages in Fields Corner and throughout Dorchester. This program is intended to skill up residents of all ages in their multilingual abilities and skills to be able to have the knowledge to become community interpreters. This is a language justice initiative that also supports the language development of young people (youth and young adults) who are second-generation and may be wanting a space to learn more about how they can use their mother tongue in community scenarios.
