What this is

Dorchester residents decide how to spend $100,000 on projects that make our neighborhoods safer, healthier, and more connected. You bring an idea; we help you shape it; the community chooses what gets funded.

Two ways to get funded

$25,000 Community Funds - three funds with one winner each:

• Language diversity: shaping proposals through multilingual participation.

• Student power : shaping proposals in student centered spaces.

• Emotional Success: shaping proposals in wellness focused communities.

Projects are chosen by a community vote in March 2026.

$5,000 Signature Fund - rolling awards via signatures

Submit a complete proposal. Once approved, gather 50 supporter signatures (threshold may adjust). If eligible/feasible, your project unlocks $5,000 without waiting for the vote.

Who can participate

If you live, work, go to school, or play in Dorchester, you're in. There's no age requirement.
