Boston’s People’s Budget is a community-led process in which residents put forward a proposal for the entire city budget that invests in the health, safety, wellness and economic stability of BIPOC, working class communities and divests from harm, policing and extraction. It came out of the 2021 win of having a portion of the City's budget be decided upon by democratic process, rather than just by the City Council and Mayor.
This is a chance to advocate for investment into our shared vision of an affordable, equitable Boston!
