This proposal is could work, but changes need to be made. Anyone, not just the author, can use the "Amend" button to make changes.

✅ Public benefit in Dorchester and nonpartisan.

✅ Fits the budget ($25k) and is doable in the Summer (by August 31, 2026)

✅ We can pay for it via one of our channels (vendor contract, subgrant, stipends/microgrants, goods distribution, direct assistance).

❓ Permission in hand for any space you don’t control or pivot to a portable/off-site version.

This seems possible- The only question are how will the cards be distributed, who will distribute them and where will they be distributed ?

What would we do with the money? Buy and add money onto the transit cards

Why is this needed? it will help out people with paying to go the trains and bus
