✅ Public benefit in Dorchester and nonpartisan.
✅ Fits the budget ($25k) and is doable in the Summer (by August 31, 2026)
❓ We can pay for it via one of our channels (vendor contract, subgrant, stipends/microgrants, goods distribution, direct assistance).
✅ Permission in hand for any space you don’t control or pivot to a portable/off-site version.
There are elements of this idea that are too broad. Is this a scholarship we're establishing? Are funds getting paid directly to colleges? Could this be a donation to an existing scholarship fund that serves Dorchester residents? There are a lot of ways to do this, but the idea right now is unclear on how we would support young people going to college.
